Is the BBL Procedure Safe?

Yes.

The surgeon that does the procedure should have trained at a Plastic and Reconstructive Program that is reputable and should be able to answer any and all questions you have about the procedure. Both Dr. Kordestani and Dr. Heffel have extensive experience with this procedure.  Dr. Kordestani trained in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Oklahoma with additional training at Lenox Hill in New York. Similarly, Dr. Heffel trained at the University of Miami and later at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. These programs are nationally recognized and are well versed in the BBL procedure.
